The Identity Federation Operators Training is a 1-month long training event that targets engineers from the UbuntuNet Alliance region primed for managing an Identity Federation. In particular, the following areas shall be covered:

1. Introduction to Identity Federation Operations
2. Introduction to eduGAIN and GÉANT T&I services
3. Overview on the SAML protocols and attribute release management
4. Insights and hands-on on Installation and Configuration or required
5. Identity Federations tools  (Registry, IdPs, SPs, Discovery Service)
6. Metadata signing and management
7. How to manage your user community 
8. Hands-on part supported by VMs
