Research needs visibility and persistence in order to be found, cited and re-used. Registering Persistent identifiers (PIDs) for research outputs supports this. A PID such as a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) helps researchers to increase the visibility and impact of their publications, research data, and other research outputs. This webinar gives an overview of the value that PIDs provide, how researchers can start using PIDs and how organizations can register DOIs for different research outputs.
